Here are a set of pre-requisites for joining the series:
a. Must be able to carry their own bag for 9 holes (pull carts ok)
b. Must have Nike Camp on Jr. Academy Level 2/3 or demonstrate sufficient on-
course experience.
c. Must have their own clubs*
d. Must be age 9-17

* If you have not purchased clubs yet, contact us at [email protected] and we can help guide you on purchasing the correct set.

Groups will be determined by age so your child will play with players of the same age.

Ages range from 9-17.

Unfortunately, spectators are not allowed due to our local course rules, however, parents are more than welcome to wait at the course restaurant.

Ages 9-11 will play from the junior tees. Boys ages 12-13 will play the forward (red) tees. Boys ages 14-17 will play white tees. Girls ages 12-17 will play red tees.

The LPC Tournament Series runs from February to November.

The Tournament of Champions (TOC) is the culmination of the “Learn Play Compete” series, featuring the top young golfers who have qualified through the previous quarters of the event. This tournament is open to children ages 9-17 and
will take place at the Mission Hills Golf Course, providing a challenging and competitive environment for participants to test their skills against the best of the best. The tournament will feature a 9-hole stroke play format, and will be held in the last quarter of the series (October-November).

No, you can choose to participate in any of the events during the series . However, if you only choose one or two events, your child may not accumulate enough points to participate in the TOC tournament in November.

Each tournament event is roughly 3-4 hours long.

Yes, all participants will need to have their own clubsets.

No, your child will have to carry his/her own clubs during the event (Pull Carts are OK)

There are no make-ups date included in the series schedule at present. We may add them later if it becomes necessary due to cancellations or participants who are not able to attend the tournament events they registered for.

There may be cancellations to certain tournament events due to severe weather or course closures. Participants will be advised in advance of such cancellations.

Groupings are established by age so if the friends are of a similar age there is a possibility they could be grouped together. However, we cannot guarantee they will as the tournament group format must be considered first.

We ask that participants arrive for the tournament events at least 30 minutes before the start time, which is 12 pm.

Range balls are not included in the price of the event and must be purchased separately.
